Why Should You Help Me
Well, first, because I'm a good guy and I have a worthwhile project. My awesome cameraman Pete and I went down to the village a few times and shot a whole lot of beautiful footage and great interviews. I’ve editing around 100 hours of footage down to 73 minutes (festival version) and 53 minutes (tv/academic version). For more information about me, look at my bio and my last documentary, Scrabylon.
By donating you will be supporting independent filmmaking and helping to spread the word about this amazing village. Donations will be used to pay for a composer, a sound mix, dubs, a graphic designer, and a whole lot of other items. By the way, up to now all of the money used to make this documentary has come from my savings. But I'm getting stretched a little thin, so please consider a donation.
Best of all, donations are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE. That's right, you can help me AND help yourself at the same time.
Who Should Donate
Anyone who wants to support independent filmmakers and artists or anyone who needs a tax write-off.
What You Receive
Due to IRS regulations, I can't offer any goods or services in exchange for a donation. But you'll certainly get a thank-you note from me and a credit in the movie. My mom would scold me if I didn't.
